Riyadh: Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Muhammad Naeem Khan has said that as many as nearly eight hundred thousand (800‚000) Pakistanis have got legal status in Saudi Arabia, say media reports.
This was stated by Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Muhammad Naeem Khan during an interview with Arab News.
He said Saudi Arabia has extended the amnesty deadline for expatriates till third of next month.
During an interview he envoy thanked Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah and Crown Prince Salman for their decision to extend the amnesty deadline for expatriates until Nov 3.”
Pakistani envoy also lauded the Saudi Immigration Department for its cooperation and support especially to the Pakistani community in achieving the legal status.
He urged Pakistani workers to contact consulate general in Jeddah for achieving legal status and jobs.
