SC orders criminal proceedings against Anjum Aqeel

Islamabad: The Supreme Court (SC) has directed the authorities concerned to initiate criminal proceedings against former MNA of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Anjum Aqeel in National Police Foundation (NPF) corruption case, say media reports.
The apex court on Thursday issued its verdict in NPF corruption case and declared that the agreement between the police foundation and Anjum Aqeel was based on corruption.
The court ordered Aqeel to pay the prices of 126 canals and 88 plots of land. It further ordered to confiscate the property of former PML-N MNA if he did not pay.
